At the end of October, Beauchamp Pt, one of our favorite places to walk, is closed to traffic for the winter. We are always very happy when that happens. Pat took us there on Monday and Lucky and I had a really great time. The weather was perfect for us…sunny and chilly. And we were the only ones there. We ran and ran. Surprisingly, Lucky stayed on the trail and did not go into the woods chasing butterflies, which was nice, because Pat gets upset when either of us is out of sight. Monday was a very good day. I hope we get to go back soon.
